Lone Star Spirits

Embarking on my first co-production adventure with The Hippodrome and freeFall Theatre in the play Lone Star Spirits- a comedy with heart, where a newly-engaged Marley comes back to her small Texas hometown to confront her past. I get to play Jessica, Marley’s old high school friend- a hardass single mom who works hard and plays hard.

Daisy Violet the Bitch Beast King

After a week of workshopping the new play Daisy Violet the Bitch Beast King by Sam Collier, it was performed alongside two other finalists during Urbanite Theatre’s 2019 Modern Works Festival. I played Josephine, the older of the two sisters (or three, depending on whether or not you believe Daisy Violet is real). It was a thrilling rehearsal process brainstorming how to portray heads and limbs being bitten off and where the magical realism turns into reality. After much discussion and an audience vote, Daisy Violet was declared the winner of this year’s festival!

Be Original Theatre Festival

New play readings are one of my favorite things, so I feel very fortunate to have been a part of the development of two new plays in Orlando’s first Be Original Theatre Festival! In this festival’s inaugural year, I read the roles of Victoria in Rubberneckers by Alexander Hehr and Beth in Trafficked by Gretchen Suarez-Pena. Trafficked won first place in the Table Read Series and will soon be traveling to schools to educate students and staff about human trafficking.

Modern Works Festival 2019

After serving as the stage reader for last year’s inaugural Modern Works Festival, I am so excited to be a play screener this year along with 14 other incredibly talented women. As someone who can’t wait to get their hands on a new play (I have a habit of reading at least one play every day), I can’t wait to read so many new female-written, female-driven pieces!

Wednesday's Child (World Premiere)

I’ve spent two years diving into the role of Becca Connor through many developmental readings at Florida Studio Theatre, and I cannot wait to finally put this her onstage in a fully-fledged production. As this is a World Premiere production, the playwright Mark St. Germain will be with us for the entire process. This rehearsal process will be overlapping with the final three performance weeks of Curious Incident, so I foresee lots of coffee in my future (maybe I’ll even try espresso?)

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

I am so excited to be back at Florida Studio Theatre, now on the mainstage, taking on the many characters of Voice Five in this Tony Award winning play! This has been one of my bucket list shows for a while, and I’m glad I get to do it at FST under the direction of Artistic Director, Richard Hopkins.

Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley

I am so excited to be working with American Stage for the first time and even more excited to say that the show has officially opened! I have the privilege of playing Lizzy post-marriage to Mr. Darcy, and it is a show full of joy and festivity, a perfect way to spend the holiday season.

Modern Works Festival 2018

I recently moved back to Sarasota, Florida and am excited to be serving as the reader for Urbanite Theatre’s upcoming Modern Works Festival during the first two weeks of October! This festival consists of three staged readings of new plays written by female playwrights (Stalking by Jayne Hannah, The Violet Sisters by Gina Femia, and The Space In Between by Mercedes White).
